Enviromental advantages

  • Complete removal of Salt in Tanning Process
  • Reduction of acid chemicals in the tanning process
  • High fixation of chemicals in the hides, low impact on the effluents waste
  • Reduction of Chlorides, Sulphates and C.O.D. in the effluents with reduction of depuration costs
  • Replicable process with traditional machineries
  • Wet-Blue and Wet-white leather extremely versatile for every article
  • Wet-Blue obtainable with traditional Basic Chrome Sulphate 26/33
  • Appliable process on full thickness and splitted hides for Wet-Blue, split in lime hides for Wet-White

High exhaustion and fixation provided by the chemicals appositely developed, brings to an extremely low impact process that can significantly change the future of Organic Metal Free Tanning.

Analytical tests reported show unperceivable quantity of Chromium Sulphate in the effluents, which means a very low impact for the water treatment plant and dramatically reduces water depuration cost and outcome.

The same for Organic Metal Free Leather, whose tests reported extremely low values of tanning metals and formaldehyde.
The quantity of Chlorides and Sulphates in the effluents after these processes is practically irrelevant.

Several years of research on Wet-White production has come to develop a completely metal-free and organic leather, pickel free and salt free, using a compound of chemicals made by Fosfonium Salts.

The result is an extremely clean white leather with excellent chemical-physical fastness to be adaptable to any kind of retanning process.

The Wet-White production is appliable on split in lime raw material to ensure a full and uniform penetration of chemicals.
To avoid formaldehyde release that could be caused by the interaction of several chemicals has developed a special product to apply at the end of the process that completely breaks down its values.
